In an alternate reality, known as Earth-65, instead of Peter Parker, the young Gwen Stacy who was bitten by a genetically altered radioactive spider, gaining proportional powers from an arachnid and becoming the Spider Woman of her world. She is also the drummer of a band led by Mary Jane Watson, the singer and guitarist, and is experiencing a conflict at home with her police father, Captain Stacy. Gwen is portrayed in a very faithful way to the comics and is highlighted in the film by the partnership with the young Spider Miles Morales, which begins after a difficult situation between the pair at school.
